Athena’s POV 

The music room was crammed with eleven students all waiting for the main person to arrive
from the principal’s office. “when is that damn girl gonna arrive? I swear if she has any bad
news, I will beat her, into Mac and Cheese!’ Marian the black haired girl huffed angrily. An
arm gently grabbed her shoulder. “Let’s try to be patient shall we? Finding fault and being
angry does not help.” Judy’s electric blue eyes stared into Marians dark ones. Ruby arrived
some minutes later carrying files and papers, she was the leader of this year’s annual day
parade. Marian sat down staring at the horizon to avoid a mishap. (Which she was!. she was
the mishap!)

“I have a confession to make ladies!” Ruby told us, her serious tone sent a chill down my
spine. It was rare for Ruby to be more serious than she already was. Marian stared at Ruby
for a few minutes, to study her body language and expression then returned to her earlier
position staring at the horizon.

I asked her minding Marian was tapping her heels from agitation. “What do you have good or
Bad news?” Marian stood up causing the rest of us to be almost in the panic mode stage. If it
was bad news she was delivering she can be simmered and roasted into mac and cheese by
Marian herself. I decided that I have to stop this tension which was radiating from both of
them. I glanced at Lilly’s direction. her young, naïve personality was not the mood I wanted
when confronting Marian and Ruby, But I almost wished I had her personality. I stood up and
addressed the girls. “Guys! Let’s chill for a minute and let Ruby explain! then we
can..................” Ruby grabbed my arm and dragged me out before I can continue.

“You know what you are talking about right?” Ruby eyed me like a falcon who had found her
next meal. I replied immediately. “Yes it is! Ruby we can................” Ruby cut me off.
looking at the stained windows of the room she replied. “Let’s get straight to the point, one,
we don’t have a venue for our annual show, and two, there is something wrong outside, the
nonexistent battle between humans and Automatons, which is happening for real!”  “You.
Gotta. Be. Kidding . me!" I ran, outside to see..........just miniature figures, fighting in the
horizon. I became furious and stormed inside! “just some science project for show that’s it!” I
retreated back to campus receiving some files from student-athletes I decided to proceed with
the annual event project.  “Athena listen to me it’s important!” “Very well Ruby what is your
word?”  She stayed silent for a while. I continued. “Than what? The school? Ruby you need
some rest, go home, sleep and come tomorrow I will settle with the rest.” I arrived next to a
steel door the art room. I was about to enter when Ruby grabbed hold of my arm and pulled
me away.

      “Athena You haven’t heard the whole message!!!!”

“Where the hell are they? should we, look for them?” Ameystist enquired. An hour has
passed since Ruby had dragged me out. The rest of the council was miffed with fear. The
room became silent, the rest stared at each other, bating their breaths, hoping the both of us,
are not planning a April’s fool worth prank for them. They waited, as the minutes ticked by,
the room became quite creepy and desolate as If happiness had been absorbed and nothing
was left of it. “Um, are you guys doing the sit still and stay silent competition? If you are all
doing it then I am in.” Lilly broke the eerie silence that surrounded her. As she asked, the
lights in the room flickered and died leaving any hope that was inside everyone. “Lilly may
god bless our souls sit down!” Juliet smiled gesturing her to sit down. She sat down silently.
The room became tense as there was no electricity no hope to keep calm, for Emerald it was a
nightmare, came true! Her panic stricken heart was about to break open and fall into a million
little pieces,  Emerald stood up and addressed the crowd," Guys do you have any idea, like,
the lights went kinda out, and we are literally sitting here, FOR, WHO, KNOWS, WHAT,  is
there! and Ruby and Athena hasn't returned in yet, and...." Her voice finally broke as she
replied, 

 " WE. ARE. GONNA .DIE!" She crumbled to the ground as Judy held her.

 “OH! JUST SHUT UP ALREADY WE KNOW WHERE THE FUCKIN HELL WE

DOING!” Marian retorted in annoyance. “Emmy, calm down for a minute maybe both the
leaders may interfered in an argument with the board getting into a frenzy won’t solve
matters!” Juliet consoled Emerald. Everyone became silent again. Marian decided to calm
Emerald down since she was still shivering in Juliet’s arm. She searched her pocket and
found matches searching the shelves found identical candles, fetching it, she brought it to the
small table. Aquamarine lit it up, bright, light engulfed the darkness making Emerald calm
again.

Sapphire was fed up of waiting she stood up and glanced at each and everyone in the room. “I
will think on a plan to get us out of here atleast that is the least I can do and yes! Ruby and
Athena they might be in sort of trouble” She whipped out her presentation tool, it filtered out
more light than the candles. A holographic image of the school appeared and she presented
strategies while the others listened (RIP guys!)

chapter 3-Arguments and fights

“....................................and that is how we can save them if any danger is impediment.”

Everyone was slightly worried, why is Sapphire presenting this to them? Are they really in
trouble? Both the leaders have disappeared into thin air and she has literally got into their
heads that Ruby and I are in some sort of danger. (This is pretty much what happens when we
put a holographic image of the school and try to explain situations that isn’t necessary!,I feel
for them you know!, Ow! Sapphire stop hitting me!) Marian tapped her heels in agitation
again (it is not everyday that you have to like hear Sapphire talking about different strategies
and then get away from it making people confused!)
 Marian tapped her heel again in agitation her veins was boiling in heated rage! She equally
had enough of the nonsense that everyone had to wait for an hour for the both of us coming
so late and this! Sapphire’s presentation is total shit! Punching someone will be very much
satisfying! Why can’t Judy just try talking to everyone? Sapphire’s babbling has never
stopped damn her! She wanted to punch someone and poor Sapphire became her new target.
“HEY SAPPHIRE CAN YOU STOP THIS SHIT? I GOT ENOUGH OF THIS FUCKING
SHIT! ANYWAY JUST SHUT UP ALREADY!” “Yeh you got a problem?” Sapphire asked
rather proudly (Guys! I warn you never do that when Marian is in one of her bad days she
doesn’t care much about your DEATH!)

She went ape! Grabbing Sapphires shirt and threw her across the room. (Does anyone know
any center’s which teaches people to literally have a calm mind?) Marian slammed her fist
into Sapphires face sending her to the music stands not a good place to get yourself having a
bad back! She stood up and wiped her bloody nose seriously?! Someone has to break my
nose? Sapphire was angry Marian just called her work what?
