1 BHK

• A 1 BHK stands for one standard-sized bedroom,


hall, and kitchen. This configuration usually
comes in a standard size of 400 – 500 sq.ft.

• Given the rising property prices, a 1 BHK is an


ideal choice for a small family or a lower-middle-
class family, where they can also convert the hall
into a small bedroom for their kids.
2 BHK

• A 2 bhk apartment means that the unit has two bedrooms, one
a standard-sized master bedroom, and a second smaller room.

• Along with this, there is a hall space, kitchen, and bathrooms


that may be attached to the rooms. These 2 BHK apartment
units are becoming increasingly popular. Since individuals
and families are now working from home and need extra space

3 BHK

• A 3BHK means a housing unit with three bedrooms, a


kitchen and a hall. These units have become increasingly
popular recently, especially in Mumbai and Delhi-NCR
Regions.
• In most 3 BHK house plans, there are three washrooms, out
of which two are attached to the bedrooms. The third
washroom serves as a guest washroom outside.

• Studio apartment means a configuration that has a
living space, a bed space, a kitchen and bathing space.

• Studio apartment sometimes have partial walls to create a


demarcation. For example, if the guests come in, you will
have some privacy, if there is a wall.

PENTHOUSE

• penthouse is an apartment or unit on the highest 3rd floor


of an apartment building, condominium, hotel or tower.
Penthouses are typically differentiated from other
apartments by luxury features.
• a penthouse is ‘an expensive and comfortable flat or set of
rooms at the top of a tall building’. According to
the Merriam Webster Dictionary, a penthouse is ‘a
structure or dwelling on the roof or top floor of a building’.

• A bungalow is a one-story house, cottage, or cabin.


Bungalows are generally small in terms of square
footage, but it is not uncommon to see very large
bungalows.
• Bungalows were originally designed to provide affordable,
modern housing for the working class.

FRAMHOUSE
• A farmhouse is a type of a house, which serves a residential
purpose in an agricultural setting. It is surrounded by a farm
or a well landscaped garden. These can also be called as country
houses, away from one's residential address, where one can go to
spend some time in the lap of nature.

ROW HOUSES

• A row house is a type of townhouse that is created


exclusively for a single family and has a shared wall with
the other units. A row house has a fairly consistent
architectural framework with an aesthetically beautiful
design, however all of the units share a common façade.

• One of a series of houses connected by common sidewalls


and forming a continuous group. Fundamentally, a row
house is a building that stands cheek by jowl with its
neighbors, often sharing a common wall.
