Script (Introduction)

DE BELEN : Top of the Morning Ladies and Gentlemen. My name is

Ken Cedrick De Belen.

TAPALES : And I am Gino Renei Tapales and welcome to your No. 1

chismisan TV show!

BOTH : THE! News and Blues talk show!

DE BELEN : But wait, we're not here to deliver our part yet;
we're here to introduce you to the topic we'll be discussing on
Monday.

TAPALES : That’s right, you could say that this is one long heck
of an unskippable ad. Anyway, let’s start.

DE BELEN : First, we prepared a game, yes partner, a game that

will challenge the mind of our audience.

TAPALES : I bet that these words are spoilers for our upcoming
thrilling episode of News and Blues on Monday!

DE BELEN : Spoilers? ack, i hate spoilers but who cares, i am not

the one who’ll hear the spoilers so let’s get started, partner
you go first.

(Proceed to the game) kaya na yan Impromptu

TAPALES : That’s an amazing game, I thought our audience won’t be

able to answer all our Jumbled words, seriously, you guys are
smart.
DE BELEN : Now, returning to our main purpose, the guests we'll
be having on Monday are a remarkable group of individuals; they
are talented attorneys and brilliant literature graduates.

TAPALES : And Mr. Ralph Semino Galan and his poem "Justice" will
be the great, the big, and the exciting topic we'll discuss on
Monday.

DE BELEN : Mr. Ralph Semino Galan, an Associate Professor of

Literature, the Humanities, and Creative Writing at the UST
Faculty of Arts and Letters and the UST Graduate School.

TAPALES : In addition to the poem Justice, he has some additional

works. His poem "Justice" is particularly intriguing; it
describes how unjust and unfair the Philippine justice system is.
DE BELEN : We would love to share more information but our big
show on monday won’t have any thrill if the audience already
knows what’s gonna happen.

TAPALES : Me and my partner would make sure that you will enjoy
and learn something about justice, especially that this topic is
quite sensitive for us Filipinos.
