Web-Based Assessment
The assessment activity allows each student to work at their own pace. Many students

that have an IEP or a 504 plan require extra time for reading, writing, and response assignments.

Edpuzzle allows students to work at their own pace and come back to questions. The content

between all students remains the same, but allows for students to work at a pace best suited for

them. Another form of differentiation within the platform allows students to turn on captions if

the video being watched has audio. The Dalton Chrome Extension for this particular assignment

allows for any students with any form of colorblindness to have assistance when viewing colors

on digital screens. Edpuzzle works as a formative assessment before the students work on

recreating a movie scene using one color scheme. This assessment tool checks for understanding

of saturation or intensity, recognizing use of color in specific scenes, recognizing color schemes

in cinema, and understanding the purpose of using color.
