Get / Be used to

Get used to and Be used to both refer to the state and process of becoming accustomed to a new situation.
Look at the examples:

"When I first moved to Spain, it took me a few months to get used to driving on the right."

"After a year living here, I'm used to looking left before I cross the road." 

Notice the verb form after get and be used to is -ing.

In the sentences below, write the verbs in brackets with the correct form of get or be used to. Write full
verb forms; do not use contracted verb forms.

HIDE

Get/Be used to can be followed by a noun as well as a gerund form (-ing). Look at these examples.

When I first moved to Spain, it took me a few months to get used to driving on the right.

When I first moved to Spain, it took me a few months to get used to the traffic in the city.

After a year living here, I'm used to looking left before I cross the road.

After a year living here, I'm used to the direction of the traffic when I cross the road.
