Matter is anything that occupies space and has mass.

The mass of an object is a measure of the amount of matter the object has.
An atom is the smallest particle of an element that has all the properties of the element.
A molecule is a particle consisting of two or more atoms combined together in a
specific arrangement.
The size of an atom is measured in angstroms.
A physical property is a characteristic of a matter that can be observed or measured
without changing the identity of the matter.
A chemical property describes the ability of a matter to undergo a specific chemical
change.
Plasma is also a physical state of matter but it requires special conditions to exist.
Particles of matter are moving all the time.
The physical states of matter are solid, liquid and gas. These are considered the
different particles of matter.
