An unforgettable incident in my life.

Air of excitement fills the car.It was our first trip of the year to visit
our grandmother’s village since it has been almost 3 years we didn’t
met her. There were four of us in the car who is my mom, dad,my
little brother and me.We were in a long drive to our village in
Baling,Kedah and heading there to celebrate Hari Raya after a month
of fasting.

As usual,I plugged on my headphone and listen to my favourite song

by ED Sheren while enjoying the magnificent view of the palm oil
plantation by the roadside when my dad drove to a nearby petrol
station to fills up the tank. All of us began to stretch out ourselves
after 3 hours of journey. At that moment,I received a phone call from
my bestie Anna and I quickly attend the call.

Kaaboomm!!!! there was a huge deafening blast and I couldn’t see

nothing, just a load screamed.I was really panic at that moment as my
version become blur. I doesn’t knew what was happening until there
is a hand pulls up the collar of my shirt and get me out of the car and
I realised that it was my dad.

All of my family members were crying outside and I was the last one
to survive.I was really thankful to god because none of my family
members were in danger.A few minutes later,an ambulance has
arrived and all of us were rushed to a nearby hospital.Luckily, none of
us were injured, just for a small wounds in certain parts.
I realised that it was all my fault.I couldn’t attend the call.I hang my
head in shame and guilt.I apologised again and again as the guiltiness
level increase in myself. It was a bitter experience but a good
reminder that life can suddenly turn unpleasant.
