I think the most important counseling stage is the initial
disclosure stage because it's the stage where the counselor
builds and sets the tone for the therapeutic relationship with
the client. In this stage the counselor empathizes with the
client so that he's more open and engaged in exploring the
issues affecting him.
Preparing for the mentoring process:
The preparation stage for the counseling process is a necessary
step to start the counseling process
