    The W.H.O Drinking Water TDS Chart provides guidelines for the total dissolved solids (TDS) level in drinking water and its palatability quotient. Water with a TDS level between 0-300 ppm has an excellent palatability quotient for drinking, between 300-600 ppm is good, 600-900 ppm is fair, 900-1200 ppm is poor, and above 1200 ppm is unacceptable.

    One of the important questions that many people have in their minds what is the acceptable  TDS
    level in the water. To help you out, we are listing two tables which discuss the palatability
    quotient and acceptable TDS level.

    TDS Level in parts per million(ppm) Palatability Quotient

    Between 0-300 Excellent for drinking

    300-600 Good

    600-900 Fair

    900-1200 Poor

    Above 1200 Unacceptable
