Cinco de Mayo Mexican Cuisine began in
2010. That’s when owner, Agustin Cama-
cho, decided to open his own restaurant.
Camacho has been a lover of food all his
life, especially Mexican food. He loves
f lavorful food and Mexican food stands
out because of all the diversity of flavors
it has, so he wanted to bring that to the
community by opening his own establish-
ment. He has years of experience in the
food industry, having worked at Mexican
restaurants since 1998 in Berkeley County.
Camacho and his team have been very
involved with the community and area
school activities as he has sponsored kid’s
league baseball, soccer, and football teams
and also helping out on fundraisers.
Agustin says he is really grateful the
community appreciates his hard work
and is truly honored to be named a winner
yet again for the “Best of Berkeley” award
which the restaurant has been winning
since 2017.

The folks at Cinco de Mayo Mexican Cui-
sine continually strive for the best by hav-
ing top food quality as well as terrific staff
who treat their customers like family so
folks can truly enjoy the great flavor of ev-
ery Mexican dish they serve. They want ev-
eryone to have a great time in their friendly
atmosphere when they choose Cinco de
Mayo to have a nice dinner from their ex-
tensive menu with that special someone or
their family and friends. For birthdays, the
staff will gather around and put a mariachi
hat on the birthday person, serving them
with a delicious sopapilla dessert while
singing “Happy Birthday.”
The restaurant is located at 636 Rembert
C. Dennis Boulevard/Suite B in Moncks
Corner and are open Monday through
Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday
and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.,
and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Happy
Hour is from 4-7 p.m. daily. Their phone

They also have a new location at 116
Foxbank Plantation Boulevard as well in
Moncks Corner. That locale offers a great
atmosphere outdoors with a beautiful pa-
tio and set of greenery with a f lex neon
angel and devil wings so people can take
a photo. They have the same hours as their
original location in Moncks Corner and
