Fashion has had to constantly evolve

But the industry radically changed in the 1990s
When brands like Guess, Zara, and Forever 21 led the way with what we know as, FAST FASHION.
Fashion had never been this cheap and accessible before.

One of the most famous fast fashion brands in the Philippines. The brand H&M, is looking for some-
thing new, and something exquisite.

Audrey Nicole Quizon, this is KaVouge!

For their anniversary, H&M is currently looking forward to collaborating with a brand that Filipinos
would surely love.

Right now, there is an ongoing poll that shows what local brands the Filipinos want H&M to collabo-
rate with.

(Titingin sa board kunwari)

Currently the netizens are voting for the brand that they want. Out of all the Filipino brands, we have
our top 3! There are many ways this poll can be set up, but currently, the brand DBTK, is our top one!

While we wait for the final tally of votes, may we call on, the one who's currently the CEO of the
brand H&M. Ms. Mia Dimaculangan.

Miss Mia Dimaculangan, nice to finally meet the brains behind this famous brand that hooks Filipinos
by heart.

Mia: Nice to meet you!:)

Would you mind telling us about your family's journey on how your business became so successful?

Mia: Our 1st store is called Hennes & Mauritz, founded by my parents, but since it's too long (laughs)
it's now called H&M. We aim at young, fashion-conscious urban consumers, our products are trendy
and affordable. We constantly resupply the product pipeline with the latest trends. H&M's business
idea is to offer fashion and quality at the best price in a sustainable way. With a broad and varied
product range, H&M makes it easy for anyone who is into fashion to express their own personal style.
By our strategy, here we are now, one of the most famous and successful brands that young customers
- even the elderly adore!

That was so clever of your family, Ms. Mia. Now we know why H&M is a very successful business.

But may I ask, why would you like to collab with a Filipino-owned brand? When Im sure other big
brands will be willing to collab with you?

Mia: Most of our customers are Filipinos. Filipinos showed so much of their love for our brand, and
now, for our upcoming anniversary, we would like to share some with you too.
By collaborating with a Filipino-owned brand, we show our love to all our beloved customers from
the Philippines!

We have the owners of the Filipino-owned brands on set today! May we ask all of you why would
you like to collab and work with H&M? You can go 1st Mr. dbtk.
DBTK: Honestly, just to make Filipinos happy, we know that we’re not that big of a brand, but we
would like to express our love to our customers by collaborating with one of their favorite brand. And
also, it's a big chance to expand our business.

Penshoppe: By collaborating with H&M, our beautiful arts, and works can bloom, a new and wonder-
ful set of clothes that I'm sure people would like.

Bench: We’ve been in this business for so long, we like to work with bigger brands to catch the eye of
our customers and please them.
