God of hope, you are the Builder of all things.

May our leaders work together harmoniously

and not get side-tracked by partisan politics. Help our leaders, and help us, not to be divided,
but to commit to working cooperatively for the common good. Give our leaders and us
humility and respect for one another. When our leaders have different opinions and agendas,
help them find common ground and find ways to compromise. Help our leaders to be
mutually supportive of one another. Lord in your Mercy,

Almighty and most merciful God, we remember before you all poor and neglected whom it
would be easy for us to forget: the homeless and the destitute, the old and the sick, and all
who have none to care for them. Help us to heal those who are broken in body or spirit, and
to turn their sorrow into joy. Grant this Lord in your Mercy,

God of Heaven’s Armies, We come before You on behalf of the missionaries around the
world. Their calling has taken them to places where Your enemy defends with great
fierceness. Your enemy targets them because they seek to lead the lost to salvation. Please
protect them against the invisible enemy with Your mighty arm. For the sake of those who
will believe, teach them how to fight spiritual battles, and stand their ground. Be their shield,
Lord, and guard them. Lord in your Mercy;
