Reflect on Genders

1. Being a female has affected my life in ways of going through puberty, this comes

with my acne getting worse, of course, the typical period, the pressure of staying up with

fashion trends, also having my hair or nails done, the choice to wear makeup or not to. I

don’t feel like I have missed out on anything. If I could change anything about being a

woman it would be the pressure we feel, the pressure to always look good, be well-kept,

marry early, be successful, and be a mother. I feel like there are so many roles a woman

has to take on to be seen as “successful” or “having it together” and the only thing that

we seem to obtain from these standards are mental illnesses and an overwhelming

amount of pressure.

2. I am pretty satisfied with my physical appearance. If I could change anything I

think it would be my body's ability to obtain muscle. I feel like once I have it I lose it

super fast.

3. I feel like I good amount of gross-sex and same-sex friend groups. Barriers that I

would maintain with cross-sex relationships is making sure we are on the same page with

how we feel towards each other as just friends.
