I want to tell you about operating systems.

To start, an operating system is a software on the hard drive that enables the
computer hardware to communicate and operate with the computer software.

Consider the types of operating systems. Firstly, Graphical User Interface

(GUI) operating system, which contain graphics and icons. Secondly,
multiprocessing and multitasking operating system, which support and use more than
one computer processor. Lastly, multithreading operating system allows different
parts of a software program to run concurrently.

I’m sure, an operating system is the most important part of a computer. It

controls the computer’s recourses and has the adaptability for different uses.

For correct work and running efficiently operating systems must accomplish
some tasks. Resource allocation is an important task, which prevents deadlocks and
process starvation.

The most popular operating systems are Windows and MacOS. Windows is
more comfortable for gamers because every application and game is compatible with
Windows. At the same time MacOS is safer because there are no viruses for MacOS.

I think, the developers of operating systems are geniuses, because they

created a complicated and useful product, which allow people to use computers in
different ways.
In the end, operating systems have become an integral part of our everyday
life. Thanks to them, we make full use of our computers
