01. Pre-Requisites
This commissioning checklist and report must be carried out upon completion of the installation
of the BNWAS BN150 system:
Installation manual available for reference.
All peripheral equipment that is to be connected is operational.
Ensure all wiring is checked and confirmed to be correct before applying power to the system.
Make any necessary crew announcements warning of BNWAS testing.

02. Test Equipment


The following equipment is recommended in addition to standard tools.
Digital Multimeter
Laptop with serial cable (with USB to serial adapter if required)
Software for reading NMEA data – e.g. HyperTerminal

03. Visual Inspection

04. Power Supply
