Why reporting time is important?

-To correctly calculate each employee's salary and


make sure that none of the vacations or sick leaves
are missed.

Until further notice, please do not press


“Submit period…”.

Please use the correct codes, it minimizes the


time is spent for collecting all employees' hours
and manually editing them.
Overtime: Overtime approvals should be sent as soon as possible and registered in Jira.
Approval for the last day of the month should not be sent later then first day of the next month, 9:30.
In case of sick leave, you should inform about it, on the day you have opened it and on the day you closed it.
After the TR deadline, it is possible to edit your hours, but please do it carefully. Look carefully if you still have 8 hours that day.
Please report correctly the days before holidays (7h workday) especially those who work hourly work.
Do not make any changes without informing Baiba Sebre on the TR deadline day, after the deadline.
February updates
February updates- Salary review
● Performance evaluation completed, Salary review initiated, communication to employees will
start on March 20th
○ Employees who are not part of the Salary review process:
■ employees who have resigned or are in trial period
■ new hires after October 1st, 2022
■ employees who have received significant adjustments and promotions throughout the
year where it was specifically agreed with employee
■ employees on unpaid leave
■ employees in maternity/ paternity leave - as the contract is suspended employees can not
enter salary process, but salaries will be assessed upon return
■ employees who have received low performance evaluations “work is not of acceptable
standard” or “improvement expected”
February updates
● On February 23rd - COO of Visma Group Ellen Furru and Leap Giant
Technologies Managing Director Therese Sletten will visit PL11 office and
will attend Visma Labs 8 year anniversary party
● Annual Health and safety instructions March 6 - 9
● AHA week planned in March 13 - 17th
● Wellbeing weeks March 27 - April 6
● Catch the spring activities March 20 - April 6
● Testing new water filter system in BG office until 23rd of February

Latvian language club is back
let’s speak Latvian together with Anton and Inga

● All colleagues, whose native language is not Latvian, but who are interested in learning or
practicing the Latvian language are very welcome to join!
● What are we doing? Mostly speaking and having conversations. Improving the vocabulary. No
hardcore grammar :)

We meet weekly on Tuesdays 17:30 - 18:00

Reminding some guidelines
● Hybrid work model continues, each team has decision making power to
decide when to work in office, but employees are expected to be working
from office:
○ if your team has guest visitors
○ on the day when Visma Labs has monthly brunch (unless it is booked as online event)
○ you are expected to attend Visma Labs summer team building event
○ you are expected to work in office during VIsma top management visit (CEO, CTO, Strategic Initiatives
Director, etc. visit)
○ you have to come to office by HR or Managing Director request
● If your team members from other countries are planning to visit you, please
inform Baiba Sebre, our Happiness Officer
