Using/ based on the following template, express your learning in the following:

1. Before, I used to believe that learners learning process includes establishing appropriately
high and challenging standards as well as evaluating the learner and their progress,
including diagnostic process, self-evaluations, performance and outcome assessments are
all crucial parts of the learning process., but, after the discussion on Assessment for
Learning, I’ve learned and realized that being a teacher isn’t that easy especially when it
comes to evaluating your students. It takes time and effort to provide your students the
best tool for assessment.

I realized that performance-based assessment is the best assessment a teacher can give to
her/his students. It makes them participate fully and it isn’t boring compared to paper and
pencil. The students can use their different skills depending on the activity given to them.
When I was still in High School, I love it every time my teacher gives us a group activity
because it stimulates me holistically and makes me love my subject even more for it is
not boring. As a future teacher, I will create more performance-based assessment to
student’s despite of its limitation. It will take time for us to make and evaluate but
practically speaking, it can help our students more than paper and pencil test. As the
learning process progresses, assessments provide valuable feedback to both the student
and the teacher.

2. Before, I used to believe that both teacher, student and their guardian are accountable for
the growth of the students' learning but, after the discussion on Learning-Centered
Psychological Principles, I’ve learned that as an individual develops, he or she have a few
occasions that the environment or social orders may influence to his or her learning.

The learning of an individual is like a waterway wherein it goes relentless, meet unused
learnings and embrace it to his or her way of life. the learning of students is influenced by
a variety of factors, including the involvement of parents, teachers, administrators, and
community members in the educational system as well as the children themselves. The
learner and learning process are governed by 14 principles. These principles are designed
to approach students holistically in the context of authentic learning experiences.

I realized that these 14 principles emphasize the active and reflective nature of learning
and learners. The 14 principles are divided into those referring to cognitive and
metacognitive, motivational and affective, developmental and social, and individual
difference factors influencing learners and learning.
