ELEMENTS OF RAPID EYE MOVEMENT (REM)SLEEP.

 Is a phase of sleep characterized by rapid eye


movements, increased brain activity, and vivid
dreaming.it is a period of deep restorative sleep
that occurs cyclically throughout the night,
typically lasting between 10 and 30 minutes.
During REM sleep, the brain is highly active and
dreaming occurs, while the body is relatively still
and paralyzed. This paralysis is thought to be a
protective mechanism that prevents people from
acting out their dreams. REM sleep is associated
with a variety of psychological processes such as
emotional regulation, creative problem solving,
memory formation, and intense dreaming. It is
also believed to play an important role in
regulating mood.
 REST PROBLEMS

feelings of excessive apprehension, worry, and
