WHO WE ARE
Adlaw is a company that innovates
products which utilize solar energy.

Initiated by five STEM students from


De La Salle University- Manila.

Our company aims to promote the


use of sustainable energy in
people’s everyday lives.
The world is utterly
consumed by technology
and sadly most of us are
uninformed that the
gadgets we use consume
energy that contributes
to the depletion of non-
renewable sources we
have on earth.
THE PROBLEM?
According to NatGeo Approximately
80 percent of the total amount of
energy used globally each year comes
from non-renewable resources which
are quickly depleting due to the
improper handling of our generation,

Adlaw aims to promote the use of


sustainable energy in every person’s
daily life.
Why does this problem exist?
Since people are not well informed of the status of earth’s
resources we tend to oversee this and leave it to the
government and organizations. However, this is also our
problem because we too are living here on earth and are the
consumers of all resources.

The next generation deserves to live in a world where they


aren’t deprived of the resources which were once abundant
in our planet. Our product is an instrument, in beginning the
change in order to save the earth’s non-renewable resources.
This is a small step into a better world for the future
generation.
What is our goal?

Our company hopes that with our products, we


may help society transition into a more eco-
friendly lifestyle, without sacrificing the
technological developments we now have.
Adlaw’s first product is a
power bank which utilizes the
energy from sunlight. This will
enable people to charge
without the use of electricity.
This power bank will give
users access to a free
alternative source of energy.
OUR PRODUCT
The product primarily caters to frequent
gadget or device users who need portable
and convenient charging. With the
technology that comes with the product, this
innovation may also be of use for users who
wish to charge gadgets but do not have
direct access to electricity.

solar energy that can power gadgets without consuming any electricity in the process.This
power bank also serves a flashlight, which is also powered by the energy gathered and
converted from the sun.

We want to push through with this innovation


and be able to contribute in beginning a
small step in saving the world. The world isn’t
getting any younger and this generation
needs to prepare for what the next
generation would be dealing with especially
when we talk about our resources.

Competitive Analysis
Numerous companies offer power banks which claim to
consume less electrical energy, but looking at the bigger
picture the production of these products damages the earth
more. Our product not only consumes no electrical energy at
all, but our product also utilizes parts which are sustainable
and do not cause damage to the earth and its resources.

How do we reach out
to our customers?
Our generation is definitely technology driven,
with that being said social media is a great
factor to all.

We would be able to reach out by creating


platforms in social media promoting our
product and our cause as well. 

We would also let word-of mouth be our


instrument in promoting the importance and
value of this product.
Product Status
Prototype is available. We have already tested
it on our own devices for a period of 1 week in
order to be able to observe such system errors,
product disease or inaccurate designs. One week
of usage has shown positive results. No errors
were detected and the product was proven to be
functioning the way it should.

It is in the works for public testing and display.
Advertisements through the use of flyers,  social
media (Facebook, Instagram & Twitter) were
released into the public immediately after it was
tested the one week use of the prototype. Shown in
the advertisements were the name, organizing
company, features and physical design of the
product. From those, positive and exciting
feedback were garnered from the customers.
Product Status: Market
Currently, it is not being sold. However the possible
people who would buy this product are those who
use cellphones for long periods of time or those very
interested in technology. This product is being
marketed to those who want to use alternative
sources of energy in charging their technological
devices, those who are very interested in
technology, and those who use phones for long
periods of time.

Our company’s main objective is to
help in conserving the non-renewable
resources that we have here on earth.
Adlaw also aims to innovate more
products which contribute to the
promotion of sustainable energy which
is affordable and can be utilized in
people’s daily lives.

We will take things one step at a time
which would help us achieve our great
vision as a company. We also plan to
convince people that by using
renewable energy, we all are taking
measures in saving our environment.
And by using our product, it can be a
way of doing so.

name. We hope to see that our
products are helping people, making
their lives easier, as well as helping in
the efforts of saving our planet. We
also hope that we are able to engrave
into people’s hearts how important it is
to conserve energy.

To achieve this, we would need steady
supporters for our cause and promote the
importance of conserving energy. As a team,
we would also need focus and strive to attain
our main goal, which is to be able to provide to
those who do not have the resources nor
access to high-end or topnotch technology
that can save energy. We aim to bring these
‘little-everyday’ products into everyone’s life as
it may serve as a small puzzle piece in saving
the whole world.
Team and Need

We need people who have inspired minds and hearts to


bring up eco-friendly changes in our society, who have
credible knowledge about solar energy, organizations
that can supply us materials we need and can help us
promote our product and vision. As newbies in business
management, we need knowledge and guidance from
professionals/experienced businessmen on how to
avoid inappropriate decisions in the business industry
and how to handle our business very well.
CONCLUSION: PROBLEM
Our main problem is the lack of products that use
alternative/renewable/sustainable energy in the market and
we aim to endorse these to the general public and promote
the importance of conserving energy.

Our target market would be:

We already have a solar power bank prototype that is
ready for testing for customers and head analysts. It
comes with all the introduced features of the product.
Currently, it is not being sold by our company yet.

Although the product is not yet for sale, we need people
who will steadily support for our cause and
organizations, professionals, and people with expertise
on the use of solar energy and provide us with the
materials we need to make selling this product a reality.
