Teacher recommendation

I have been teaching for a long time, and I have known very few students as
exceptional and multi-faceted as Ahmed. I have known, and taught, him in 9,10
and 12th grade and I can safely say he’s one of the most motivated, determined
and hard-working students I know. Ahmed ranks amongst the top 5 of the
students in his biology class, as can be seen from the fact that he has always
received an A or higher throughout his IGCSEs , as well as bagging an A* in his
IGCSE exam. He has always completed his assignments on time and has never
misbehaved or done anything that is unbecoming of a student. His academic
performance is not confined to biology, however, as is evident from his IGCSE
levels, getting 6A*, 1A and 1B. He received an A grade in his AS level exams, and
in recognition of getting 4 A’s in AS level, he has been awarded the academic
badge.  I am confident that he will work hard to get an A* grade in his A’ level.
With his keen intelligence, and meticulous and conscientious attitude, he has
proved to be an exceptional student. He has impressed me with his readiness to
accept challenges, both inside the class and out.

He has demonstrated great interest in biology and possesses the unique ability to
question scientific logic, unlike other students who accept scientific theories at
their face value. His curiosity took him beyond the curriculum and the walls of
the classroom. These attributes distinguish him from his classmates. He has
always tried to further develop his skills and passion for the subject, something
that will help him achieve success in his college education. Everything that we
discuss in class is later tested with the help of some challenging questions.
Through various tests that the students have taken during this time, I have
observed that Ahmed is one of the only few students who tries to follow the
logical reasoning behind every question rather than just answering it. In one of
the tests, while other students doubted their ability to interpret a particular
question, Ahmed was the only confident student who rightly pointed out that the
multiple-choice question was phrased in the wrong manner and that made all
four-answer choices redundant.

Inquisitive by nature, he is never shy about asking questions and is always trying
to improve himself, leading the class from the front and participating in all class
activities. Instead of focusing on rote-learning, like the majority, Ahmed is
interested in understanding the core concepts and practical aspects of the
subject. He is a perceptive and sharp individual with a high aptitude for science
and has the ability to handle pressure well. He has amazing practical skills, can
easily design an experiment based on any topic and there were many occasions
where I have conducted experiments that were designed by Ahmed. Apart from
that, he has helped his peers when they have struggled to grasp the concept,
highlighting his willingness to help and impart knowledge.

I am confident that he will continue to display commitment and diligence toward
future endeavors, whether that be medical education or humanitarian projects. I
wholeheartedly recommend him for admission into your university, where he
will surely thrive, being a well-mannered, perceptive and sharp individual.
