Dear Deep Imagination Intensive Applicant:

Thank you for your interest in this work! We are very much looking forward to guiding this intensive. We have
a few questions for you to reflect on and respond to before we can invite you into the program. You have surely
read the description for this intensive on the Animas web-site but we want to remind you of a key aspect of this
work.

This deep imagination intensive is designed to invite participants to not simply commune with- but surrender
to- the mysteries they encounter through their deep imaginations. Remember, the truth of what you encounter
may require you to irrevocably change your life as you now know it; to let go of things you love; to be in the
world in ways that were formerly unthinkable to you; to live a deeply satisfying and meaningful life….

In our program description you read:

“Access to our deep imagination is vital on the journey to soul because we are drawn into
intimate conversation with the mysteries of Earth and Cosmos and the depths of psyche. In this
communion, we hope to catch shimmering glimpses of how we are called to embody a unique
and wild relationship with all of life.”

These shimmering glimpses can be as troublesome as they are life affirming.

By way of an application we invite you to respond to these questions.

Please do not add supplemental materials, such as videos or podcasts, to your application.  The guides have a
limited amount of time to review a large number of applications.  If further information is desired, we will
request it.  Please go to the heart of the matter in your responses to the questions.

1. Why is this the right time for you to open (even more) to your own innate imaginal
capacities, hoping to find yourself in intimate contact and conversation with the
wild world, and allow yourself to be irrevocably changed? What is calling you at this
time?

2. Please briefly note anything you might know about your “mythopoetic identity”
or the gift that only you can offer the world — in other words, your soul-infused
experiences of images, symbols, motifs, qualities, truths, mysteries, archetypes
— things you’ve discovered through visions, dreams, numinous encounters,
revelations, conversations with nature, and so on. Or: Tell us a bit about what
you’re tracking in your personal mythology. Or: Please tell us your two or three
current biggest life questions.

3. Please tell us a bit about your degree of willingness and readiness, desire as well as fear, to
commune with and make yourself vulnerable to the mysteries of Earth and Cosmos and
the depths of psyche for the duration of our 3 week immersion.
