Subject: Request for furnishing salient information regarding 20-week-co-op term placement

Dear Sir/ Madam,

I am writing this letter to obtain some necessary information pertaining to co-op term
placements in your esteemed organisation. As a second-semester student of Business
Management at Algonquin College in Ottawa, I would also like to acquire relevant work
experience by undertaking 20-week-co-op term in your organisation (Wyonch, 2020). In
connection to this, I would like to inform you that I am a bilingual person who is well-
conversant in both English and French. With reference to the information delineated, I would
like to know if Leroux+Smythe has provided co-op work opportunities to students in the past
and if the same has been provided, what is the profile and outline of the job. Since I am
pursuing I would like to acquire real-world experience of managing, coordinating and
delivering a project effectively within the deadline (Lynch, 2019). For this purpose, kindly
provide me with the detailed specification of the job that would be offered to University
students who are electing for the co-op programme.
In contemporary times, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has become an
essential attribute for business organisations to establish a sanguine brand image and
strengthen the customer loyalty and retention aspects. I would be obliged to apprehend if the
students undergoing co-op programmes are provided with opportunities to partake in the CSR
activities of the organisation (Gehlo and Patil, 2019). Since I am going to invest 20 weeks in
an organisation and also contribute constructively towards the outcomes, I have another
query regarding remuneration or an allowance. I am interested to know if there is any
provision of salary or honorarium for the co-op programme students in Leroux+Smythe and
if the same is present, then what is the nature and stipulations of the compensation package.
Lastly, I would like to understand the volume of the French language that would be used in
official correspondence both in speaking and writing sections.
I would be extremely obliged if all the above information are provided to me as I am going to
make a monumental decision of moving to Montreal from Ottawa as I am immensely

interested to work for your organisation and sufficiently gain comprehensive and diverse
work experience.
