CHEST PASS
-Hold ball in both hands, chest high.
-Step forward, extend your arms and snap your
wrists to throw the ball in a straight line to your
teammate’s chest.
-Finish with your arms in front, chest high.
-Use whenever possible because it is the most
accurate pass.

BOUNCE PASS
-Hold ball in both hands, chest high.
-Step forward, extend your arms and snap your wrists
to throw the ball forward and down into the floor, to
a chest pass.
OVERHEAD PASS
-Bring the ball directly above your forehead with both
pass.
HOOK PASS
is a type of basketball shot wherein an offensive
player throws up a single arm over their head
sideways to make a basket. This shot can be part of
a layup or function as its own shot.
BASEBALL PASS
A “baseball” pass is a one handed pass that is used
to throw the ball long distances. When throwing
the pass the person stands side on to their target
and lifts the ball to just above their shoulder.
SHOOTING
To shoot accurately, square your shoulders to
the basket and place your feet shoulder length
apart. With your knees bent slightly and back
leaning towards the basket, put the fingers of
your shooting hand under the ball and tuck your
elbows close to your body. Flick your wrist
towards the hoop to release the shot.
