Teacher Joan present two different sentences on the class and most of her
students recognize that the sentences that she provided have the same meaning but
different grammar structure.

In the class, Teacher Joan used to give activity wherein students need to read a
story and after that they need to interpret of what they have understand.

1. Discuss the role of graphic organizers in text comprehension.Mention some


examples of graphic organizers in your answer.
Graphic organizers in text comprehension makes the lesson or presentation more
engaging and attractive. It will not only useful for the teachers but for the students as
well because it will be easy for the student and teacher to comprehend or understand
the lesson. Some of the graphic organizers that can be used are sequence chart,
analogy graphic organizer and story map.

2. Why do we need to teach study skills?


For my own opinion, teaching study skills is very important because it can increase
your self-esteem and confidence. It will become more easy to achieve your goals in life
since it will keep your motivation high. Lastly, it will reduced the anxiety of the students
regarding the test and deadlines.
