Topic Disease: Abdominal aortic aneurysm

An Abdominal aortic aneurysm is an enlarged area in the lower part of the major blood vessel that supplies the body with oxygen and nutrients (aorta). The aorta is a
blood vessel that runs from the heart to the center of the chest and abdomen. Furthermore, abdominal aortic aneurysms frequently grow slowly and without symptoms, making
them difficult to detect. Some aneurysms never burst. Many start small and stay small. Others grow in size over time, sometimes rapidly.

Deep, constant pain in the belly area or side of the belly (abdomen), back pain, and a pulse near the belly button are signs and symptoms. An aneurysm's exact cause is
unknown. It happens as a result of artery wall weakness. Smoking, high blood pressure, male sex, and genetic factors can all increase your chances of developing this problem.
Males over the age of 60 who have one or more risk factors are more likely to develop an abdominal aortic aneurysm compare to females. The larger the aneurysm, the more
