PART 2 CLASSMATES VIEW ABOUT MYSELF

BY: Ms. Dayalo

You are hardworking and kind. You are always ready to held a helping hand to the people who are in
need and you always make people around you happy.

ANALYSIS

The description of my classmate about myself is align of what I know about myself. There is no
aspect that are not part of my personality.

APPLICATION AND ASSESMENT

Do a research and list (10) things to boost your self-esteem or improve your self-concept. Cite your
sources. Analyze which of those tips are more likely to backfire and make someone conceited or and
revise them to make the statement both helpful to the individual as well as society in general.

THINGS THAT BOOST YOUR SELF-ESTEEM OR IMPROVE YOUR SELF CONCEPT

1. Maintain a positive attitude

To be able to accomplish anything in life, we must first believe in ourselves, that we are capable of
amazing things, and that it is not only possible but also likely that we will. You are halfway to
overcoming your own self-doubts if you can identify the source of them.

2. Do not be embarrassed to talk to your friends.

Although we may consider it impolite to do so, it is critical that we speak to people who we believe will
listen to us. This way, we can get feedback on how we're doing, and if anyone tells us that we do have
something to learn, it's our turn to try to improve.

3. Get up and move around.

We must accept that we will never be able to do anything well unless we are forced to. So, even if you
have a job, take a few minutes to go for a walk or join an exercise class, and then sit back and relax for a
while.

4. Do something with a goal in mind.

This may seem obvious, but many of us end up doing things solely for the thrill of doing something
different and trying something new. Even if it is as simple as doing your weekly shopping or going for a
drive, participating in something for a purpose is far more beneficial than simply going along for the ride.
5. Put things off until the next day

The problem is that when we get things done early on, then we forget about them later, and it takes a
lot longer to put them off. So, try to plan everything out in advance so that you don't have to work this
hard.

6. Listen to your body

When we are trying to improve our self-esteem, we tend to focus too much on our outward
appearance, rather than the inside of our bodies. But, the fact is that the whole of our being is inside us,
and it is important to accept this rather than being concerned with our external appearance.

7. Make sure you eat right

Remember, eating the right food helps us feel good about ourselves, because it gives us energy and is a
great way to ensure that we are ready for whatever comes our way. It is also important to remember
that when we are feeling down, it is very easy to give up, but when we eat healthy food we make sure
that we are full, this gives us more energy and will help to boost our self-esteem.

8. Set time aside for yourself

One of the best ways to boost our self-esteem is to set time aside for ourselves, this is not just a time for
doing something different, it is also a time where we can enjoy some alone time. It can be an ice
breaker, it can be a time when we get together with our friends or family, it can be even a time when we
get a bit of alone time and just reflect.

9. Write down your objectives.

You must set goals for yourself if you want to improve your self-esteem. Whether you want to lose
weight, quit smoking, or be more successful at work, you must set short and attainable goals in order to
stay motivated. Remember, this is your life, and you can't do it all at once; it takes consistent effort and
a long-term strategy.

10. Have a good time!

Remember, it's all about having fun, and having fun is one of the best ways to boost your self-esteem.

If we can master these ten ways to boost self-esteem, we will be well on our way to making a positive
difference in our lives. We must begin by altering our thoughts and behaviors.

REVISED STATEMENT

Instead of listen to your body which means we must focus on the external aspect we should more
focus in our inner aspect. For me it is okay that you are lack of physical attributes, and you must accept
it, then look for a better flaw that make you standout. Example of this is being kind and smart even you
are not confident in your outer looks. People will admire you of that. External aspect which is look is not
bases of how beautiful you are. For me it us more in the inside or the attitude towards others and the
values that we show in our society.
