A. Igneous Rock
- Forms when magma (molten rock) cools and crystallizes,
either at volcanoes on the surface of the earth or while the
melted rock is still inside the crust. All magma develops
underground in the lower crust or upper mantle because of
the intense heat there.

B. Sedimentary Rock
- Are formed when sediment is deposited out of air, ice, wind, gravity, or water
flows carrying the particles in suspension. this sediment is often formed when
weathering and erosion break down a rock into loose material in a source
area.

C. Metamorphic Rock
- Form when rocks are subjected to high heat, high pressure, hot mineral rich
fluids, or more commonly, some combination of these factors. Conditions like
these are found deep within the earth or where tectonic plates meet
