Good evening all,

Today we are here to present to you a new event that we believe can be implemented by New Grounds.

But it has been a long time since we’ve seen each other, so we want to quickly do a recap on how our
whole process has been before telling you what the final idea is.

Our project which has been provided by the problem owner Connor Whyte has been about what can
New Grounds do in order to attract the younger generation to its venue during the weekdays.

In order to know how or what activity to implement, we first had to do some research. Research
consisted out of 41 filled surveys and 7 focus group interviews. As a result of this, we were able to find
out that 65.9% of the 41 surveys really enjoyed live music and 58.5% out of stand-up comedy. After
gathering and analyzing all of our data we created some concepts which we again validated with our
potential customers. Our final two ideas were Kar-You-Ke & Laugh-O-Loud.

In the end, which is now, we decided to proceed with the idea of the comedy night. Did we chose this by
ourselves? No. We clearly remember that during one of the meetings with our problem owner he told
us that he was approached in the past to organize comedy nights, but he wasn’t able to implement it
back then. Hopefully now, he totally will!

Introducing to you Laugh-o-Loud. Laugh-o-Loud is an open-mic comedy night that everyone can assist
too. The event will be held on Thursdays night on the ground floor right next the main entrance. The
ambiance would be like a cozy happy hour night. Entrance will be free and guests will be able to
purchase drinks and snacks at the bars in between breaks. There will be a host, of course, to host the
event and comedians that choose to participate will be able to sign-up two days before in order to
create a schedule of presentation. So, who’s ready to attend, but most importantly who’s ready to
LAUGH OUT LOUD??
