Types of Learning Theory

Cognitive Learning theory


• It involves perceiving the information, interpreting it based on what is already
known and then recognizing the information into new insights or understanding

Behaviorist Learning Theory ( need reward)


• Focusing mainly on what I directly observable, behaviorist view learning as the
product of the stimulus conditions and the response that follow.

Social Learning Theory ( Model)


• Is largely based on the work of Albert Bandura, who mapped out perspective on
Learning that includes consideration of the personal characteristics od the learners
behavior pattern and the environment. Since it’s inception, this theory has gone
through several paradigm shift.

Psychodynamic Theory (communication)


• Is the idea that behavior may be conscious or unconscious individual may or may
not be aware of their own motivation and why they feel think or act as they do.
