DATA TOOLS;

1. Tick Register.
A tick register is a tool used to record and track progress on a given task or project.
It is typically a simple checklist that can be used to keep track of what has been done, and what
still needs to be done.
Examples:
A tick register can be used to track the progress of a health outreach campaign.
It can be used to track how many people have been reached and how many have received
specific services.
Additionally, a tick register can be used to track the progress of a vaccine or medication
distribution program.
Advantages of Tick Register

 Provides a quick and easy way to track information.


 Can be used to record data on various health indicators such as immunization rates,
patient visits, and disease prevalence.
 Can be used for data analysis and tracking of trends over time. Using a tick register
allows for efficient tracking and monitoring of health campaigns or programs.
 It can help ensure that key objectives are achieved, as well as provide a simple visual
representation of progress.
Disadvantages of Tick Register:

 Not suitable for complex data analysis.


 Data may be inaccurate if not monitored closely. • Limited ability to compare data from
different sources.
 A tick register can be time consuming to set up and maintain.
 Additionally, it can be difficult to ensure accuracy and accuracy of data when using a tick
register.
2. Tally Sheets.
A tally sheet is a tool used to record and track data in a table or grid format.
It is typically used to keep track of counts or sums of data points
Examples:
A tally sheet can be used to track the number of people accessing a given health program.
It can also be used to track the number of people receiving a specific health service, or the
number of people accessing a particular health facility.
Advantages of tally sheets.
