Working with the Process Design Engineering & Consultancy Company namely “ENAR
Petrotech Services (Pvt.) Limited”, providing services like. Feasibility Studies, Conceptual
Design, Basic Design Engineering, Front End Design (FEED), Detail Engineering Design,
Procurement Assistance, Inspection, Construction supervision and Commissioning to
companies involved in Oil & Gas sector.

Job Responsibilities
As Design Process Engineer, my responsibilities are:
 Development of basis of design
 Development of Process Simulation of gas Sweetening, Dehydration, and Compression.
 Development of Block Flow Diagrams (BFDs), Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping &
Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
 Preparation of Heat & Material Balances
 Line sizing and pressure drop calculations for Gas, Liquid pipelines.
 Transient, Surge Analyses of Liquid Pipelines, graphical representation, Report writing.
 Sizing and Design of Oil Storages terminal.
 Sizing and Design of Condensate, HSD, Gas Oil Loading and Unloading System.
 Design of Fire frightening System such as Fire Water Pumps, FW Ring, Deluge, Spray
System, Foam System.
 Technical Studies / Process Optimization
 Basic / Conceptual Engineering Design
 Rating & Sizing of equipment including heat exchangers, 2 and 3-Phase Separators, Pumps,
PSVs, ROs, etc.
 Development of data sheets of equipment such as separators, pumps, heaters, control
valves, relief valves, heat exchangers, and compressors.
 Development of Control & Shutdown Philosophy, Cause & Effect Matrixes.
 Site Visits for data gathering, clear understanding of scope of work or marking of tie -in
points.
 As-builting of P&IDs.
 Adequacy checks of existing equipment’s and report writing.
 Cost Estimations (CAPEX and OPEX) of Conceptual, Basic and FEED levels.
 Detailed Process Engineering.
 Preparation of Tender Documents.
 Technical Bid Evaluation including pre/post bid clarifications and report writing .
 Preparation of Proposals, work plans, schedules and Estimation of Man-hours.
 Participated in HAZOP, HAZID and Fire & Safety Review sessions as a participant in
presence of Third Party Facilitator/Chairman.
 Assistance during procurement, Construction and commissioning activities.

1. Pak Arab Refinery Limited (PARCO):
Conceptual Study of MFM-II Pipeline Project
Worked as a Senior Process Engineer as.
o Evaluation of MFM-2 pipeline system parallel to the existing one.
o Evaluate diameter of pipeline by performing steady state hydraulic analysis .
o Outlining probable station, infrastructure, services and other facilities.
o CAPEX and OPEX estimations of project.

2. Polish Oil & Gas Company Pakistan Branch

Detailed Engineering for Rehman & Rizq Front End Compression Facility
As Senior Process Engineer my responsibilities are.
o Rating of production separators.
o Evaluation of existing firefighting system after addition of FEC facility.
o Development of Process Flow Diagram.
o Updation of Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
o Updation of Control Narratives and Cause and Effect Diagram.
o Development of Process Flow Diagram.
o Participated in HAZOP study session.

3. Pak Arab Pipeline Company (PAPCO):

Front End Engineering Design (FEED) Study for WOP Capacity Enhancement Project
As Senior Process Engineer my responsibilities are.
o Evaluation/Rating of Existing Mainline Pumps
o Steady State Hydraulic Analysis of 781 KM long pipeline.
o Transient hydraulic analysis of 26” dia 781 KM long pipeline due to closures of any
station, determine Surge Relief Valve requirement by increasing pipeline throughput .
o Participated in HAZOP & HAZID studies session.

4. Pak Arab Refinery Limited (PARCO):

Detailed Engineering of Mid Country Refinery (MCR) Revamp Project
As Senior Process Engineer my responsibilities are.
o Evaluation/Rating of Existing BFW, LP Condensate Pumps
o Technical Requisition of BFW, LP Condensate Pumps.
o Technical bid evaluation of BFW, LP Condensate Pumps.
o Conversion of HSD Storage tank into Mogas Service.
o Updation of Cause and Effect Diagram.
o Technical Requisition of Boiler Makeup Water Treatment System.
o Technical bid evaluation of Boiler Makeup Water Treatment System.
o Review Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) & PFD.
 5. Pak Arab Refinery Limited (PARCO):
Detailed Engineering of MFM Mogas Project
As a Senior Process Engineer my responsibilities are.
o Sizing of Mainline Pumps and its TOR for purchase.
o Design/Sizing of Mogas and HSD storage terminals.
o Design/Sizing of Mogas and HSD truck loading system.
o Design/Sizing of Mogas and HSD loading pumps.
o Calculation of Interface/transmix between two different batches.
o Design of foam and fire water for firefighting system.
o Updation of Cause and Effect Diagram.
o Participated in HAZID, HAZOP and Fire Safety Review sessions.

6. Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL):

Front End Engineering Design (FEED) Study for HALA Gas Processing Facility-II
As a Process Engineer my responsibilities are.
o Preparation of Process simulations of complete plant at different production
scenarios.
o Preparation of PFDs & P&IDs.
o Preparation of datasheets and development of duty specifications for packages,
(Amine Unit, Hot Oil, Cooling Water & Flare System).
o Sizing/Design of Pumps.

7. Pak Arab Pipeline Company (PAPCO):

Conceptual Study for KKLP-II Pipeline
As a Process Engineer my responsibilities are.
o Development of Conceptual Report containing pipeline selection.
o Evaluation of Mainline pumping Station.
o Steady state hydraulic analysis.
o Evaluation of storage at terminal station
o Cost estimates,
o Participated in HAZID study session.

 B.E (Chemical Engineering) from Mehran UET, Sindh, Pakistan in 2010 with 1st Division.
