Job Location & Relocation

Can the Analyst role be completely remote?

Agoda uses a hybrid workplace model, embracing the best elements of our remote and in-office
culture. There's nothing like reconnecting with our colleagues in real life as we get together for
productive sessions to spark ideas, innovate and collaborate. In addition to our work-from-
office days, you'll continue to have the flexibility to work from home a few days per week and
from anywhere in the world for up to 30 calendar days a year.

Are there any other locations apart from Bangkok that I can choose from?

I found the role was advertised in a different location, but I received an email stating it's
Bangkok based. May I get clarity on the location?

This position will be based in Bangkok, with a relocation package provided.

What does the relocation package cover?

Relocating employees will be eligible for:

Visa and work permit support, application, and renewal
Air travel
Ground Transportation
Freight shipping
Temporary accommodation
Pet transport

Dependents will be eligible for visa support and air travel. Other items, including ground
transportation, freight shipping, temporary accommodation, and pet transport, are provided
through the employee's transfer package. Dependents that qualify for relocation benefits are
legal spouses and children (those under 20 years of age).

Job role & Compensation

Can I choose the level/seniority of my Analyst position — e.g. Analyst, Senior Analyst or
Manager?

The level you are hired into will be determined based on your interview performance and our
internal benchmarking process with existing employees. However, you can share your
preference with us through your recruiter.

Could you elaborate on the roles & responsibilities for Analyst roles?

What is the salary range for Analyst positions at Agoda?

The salary for each Analyst position will be determined based on your interview
performance. Once you reach the pre-final or final interview stage, we'll better understand
your qualifications and fit for the team, allowing us to share the range with you. Agoda will
also consider your previous experience, salary package, and internal benchmarking to
ensure we provide you with a competitive salary.

SHL Assessment

What is the cut-off for the SHL assessment?

We're hiring for multiple teams, each with a different cut-off. We recommend that you practice
before the assessment and attempt the test to your fullest potential to increase your chances
of being hired at Agoda.

What does this SHL assessment evaluate?

The SHL assessment is designed to evaluate general analytical and cognitive capabilities and
your ability to analyse evidence, draw logical conclusions, and evaluate arguments effectively.

The SHL & introduction emails have different timelines; how soon should I complete the
assessment?

Kindly disregard the deadline mentioned in the email from talentcentral@shl.com. We

recommend you complete the assessment within five working days to move quickly to the next
steps in the hiring process.

I have a technical issue with the link shared; whom should I contact?

If you're facing any technical issues with the assessment link, please contact
assessments@agoda.com.

Is there any role where I needn't take up the assessment?

Most analytical roles within Agoda have the SHL assessment as the first round of interviews.

I have not received the test link after the introduction email; whom should I contact?

Please wait 1-2 hours after receiving the introduction email. Due to the volume of applications
we receive, the SHL email can sometimes be delayed. We also request that you check your
spam/ junk folder to ensure you've not missed any emails from us. If you couldn't find the email
from talentcentral@shl.com, drop an email to assessments@agoda.com.

Can I get a practice test to try out before the actual assessment?

Yes. The assessment link will redirect you to a practice test before the assessment. This will help
you understand the questions you will be asked and the preparation needed for the evaluation.

Post SHL Assessment

How can I find my scores after the assessment?

While we appreciate your curiosity to learn your assessment scores, we cannot disclose
specific numbers. Instead, you'll receive a feedback email from our team about any potential
areas you need improvement in concerning the assessment.

What is the process after the SHL assessment?

The interview process for Analyst roles differs from team to team. Typically, the hiring
manager will evaluate your profile and assessment scores. Depending on their decision, you'll
have an opportunity to talk with them directly or connect with a recruiter. Your next step may
be a case study round, followed by the final conversation with the Head of the Department.

How will I know if I completed the assessment?

Once you complete the assessment, you'll be redirected to a Google page. If that doesn't
happen, try to access the assessment link to check if you've submitted the assessment. If the
evaluation is submitted, you can wait for us to send you our feedback.

Should I update someone after receiving or completing the assessment?

The assessment is system-generated and graded. Once you complete the evaluation, a
recruiter and hiring manager will review your profile; hence no updates are required from
your side.

If I don't clear the assessment for the Analytical role, am I allowed to apply for other
positions?

The SHL assessment is the initial round for most analytical roles, and the cut-off remains the
same. However, if you find another position that suits your interests, please feel free to apply.

If I don't clear the assessment, when can I apply for an Analyst role again?

If you haven't cleared the assessment, you can apply for the same role after the three-
month cool-off period.
