I. Title: Prepare Chocolate Cookies

II. Performance Objective: In this job sheet, you will be preparing pastry product that will
assess your knowledge, skills and attitude acquired from the lesson/session provided.
III. Tools, Supplies Needed:
¼ c + 1 tbsp butter, 80g or ½ c brown sugar, 1 whole egg, ½ tsp vanilla, 1 c all-purpose
flour, ½ tsp baking soda, ½ c chocolate chips, ½ c peanuts, mixing bowl, wooden spoon,
portion bowls, pastry brush, baking sheet, oven.
IV. Procedure:
1. Wear PPE, wash and sanitize your hands and the materials to be used.
2. Prepare tools, materials, and the supplies needed.
3. Pre-heat oven at 350-degree Fahrenheit.
4. Cream the butter, brown sugar, and vanilla. Add egg until well blended.
5. Pour in the flour, salt, and baking soda.
6. Continue mixing until well incorporated.
7. Stir in the chocolate chips and nuts, using a wooden spoon.
8. Form the cookie dough into small balls, if too soft, chill or freeze until it is easy to
handle.
9. Arrange in a cookie sheet, 2 inches apart.
10. Bake for 10-15 minutes.
