2. Does the story have the prototypical elements of the macrostructure of stories?

3. Does the text follow the problem-solution pattern for story writing?

4. How does the presence of a title impact on your interpretation of this text?

5. What’s the point of view in the story?

6. Can you infer / supply what is missing without difficulty?

7. Are there two possible interpretations at any point for any part of this story? Where?

8. Is the information provided relevant?

9. Are ideas, words or phrases repeated?

10. Is there contradictory information? If so, how would you improve it?

11. Choose one element of coherence from this text which is unclear to you, and justify.
What would you have needed to know, as reader of this text, to be able to follow it
better?
