“Never to small” - Tiny Cabine-Gawthorne’s Hut

Week 3

*In Mudgee ,Australia , I learned that there is a very good place to spend a quiet
vacation and remove the stress created by everyday life
There the Gawthorne’s couple has built a small but very suitable cabin to create
unforgettable memories, the place is located 3 and a half hours from Sydney. The
idea came from the picnic that this family had on their farm.
This cabin has a very beautiful view since most of their spaces have a glass part
where you can see the outside, the only space here that does not have access to
nature, is the toilet.
The construction of this cabin has been thought out to the last detail, including
here the switches and machines in the kitchen which are positionedin a very
accessible space for all the guests who will visit that place ,special importance is
also given to energy panels and rainwater collection.
The space inside the cabin is darker because it is built of wood, each part of the
cabin has easy access to ventilation since there is a large glass window in each
part.
Every guest who visit this place is given the opportunity to plant a tree, thus giving
importance to nature and appreciating the contribution of each person.
The man idea of building this cabin was the development of tourism, giving
people the opportunity to get away from busy life, and experience some
spiritually quit days.

Inspiration for YOUR Design Work

Week 4
*Our profession is looking for new ideas, creativity and other sources of
inspiration every day and this video showed us best how and where to find them.
Reading books is always a new lesson, and it is not necessary to read only books
related to our profession, here we have some books in which we can get a lot of
knowledge and inspiration to develop our career and gaon more knowledge
about how we can understand people’s requirements.
One of these books is ‘The Photography Storytelling Workshop’ book that
helps us as architects to give our clients the right explanation for every detaill
during a process, since this book has very well illustrated each step taken until the
finalization of a picture.
Vintage Manuals
A very important thing is the knowledge of the operation of different machines,
what I learned from this video is that the momentan architect understands the
connections that are made with the teeth and other parts of the machines, we
can learn other ways in drawing lines and connecting them.
Other books form which we can learn amazing techniques and understand
theoretically and practically how we can logically understand the process of a
project down to the deepest details are books that have to do with graphic
design, art, lifestyle, and definitely a large percentage is taken from architecture
books from which we can learn things about sketching ,designing materials and
other building systems, and definitely new ideas to solve the problems.
The books’Hell Yeah or No(what’s worth doing)’ also made a special impression
on me.From this book we can learn how from the mistakes of others and by
combining it with our personal ideas we can achieve our goal,in this book we can
find answers to many different questions.
Iam very happy that I was able to understand the existence of these books with
the hope that I will have them in my hands one day.

From those videos I leared a lot of words for ex:

Adjacent,Deliverables,Assemblage.
