Preliminary Activities

Review (Recognition of Prior Learning)
Conduct a Short Review on the Figure of Speech
Presentation (7 Es)
A. Elicit: Ask questions to activate prior knowledge about sequencing an event and what the words
used to connect to events in a story.
B. Engage: Let the random students to underline the connectors in the sentences written on the
board.
C. Explore: Let the identify the different examples of logical connectors.
D. Explain: Let them read the definitions and give insights about their understanding.
E. Elaborate: Let them explain the examples written on the board.
F. Extend: Ask questions to clarify their understanding about the topic
IV – EVALUATION: Complete the following paragraph by adding the proper logical connectors.
