The learner demonstrates understanding on the notable literary genres contributed by the African writers.

The learner actively participates in the teaching-learning process of African Literature.

a.) Routiniary Activites:
Prayer, Greetings, Recapitulation on the past lesson.

b.) Motivation:
Presenting a video clip about the interesting facts in Africa.
C.) Presentation:
1.) Activity
Asking random questions to activate their prior knowledge and their idea about the video clip and I let them
guess of what is the topic of the day.

2.) Analysis
Examine the notable literary genres through silent reading.

3.) Genralization/Abstraction
Integrate the notable literary genres by summarizing the context using learner’s own words.

4.) Application
Illustrating their notable literary genres through depicting some scenario.

IV. Evaluation
Paper pencil test of objective and subjective questions about African literature.

V. Assignment
Read the distinguishing features of notable African Chants, poems, folktales, and short stories.
