Dear Sir,

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh

REPORT OF DORM ROOM BREAK-IN

1. Summary

I’m writing this letter to report and clarify information about an incident that occurred at the dorm at
Block B, Room Number 72 on 17th November 2022 around 5:00pm. There had been a break-in and one
of my belongings is missing.

2. Details

After my afternoon class, I came to the dorm and I noticed that my door room was opened but I was so
sure that I had locked the door before I came to the college. I checked the door and I found out that the
door’s lock had been wrecked which indicated a forced entry as it had been significantly damaged. I
came in to my room and realised that my drawer was opened and all my books and files scattered all
over the floor. I headed straight to my desk and found out that my laptop was missing. The brand of my
laptop is Dell in silver colour.

3. Conclusion

I hope you can solve this case and take action as soon as possible as it obviously make me even the
others feel scared and not safe to stay there.
