A perfect world starts happening in our minds and hearts, and we build it
day by day, moment by moment when each thinks and all want it to be
better! When we imagine it to be better, our children will let it happen, for
us, for them, through the power of their innocence, goodness, and will to
make it better each day!
We can start building a better world, where there is a concern for each
other and for the world around us, where there is sharing and better caring
for each other and the universe!

REGISTRATION PROCESS:
1. This competition is open for classes I to V except one event which is

open for classes I to VIII.
2. A participant cannot take part in more than one event.
3. Participants can register only through their school. Direct entries will
not be entertained.
4. The last date for the registration is 3rd September 2021.

GENERAL RULES:
1. Participants are required to adhere to the dress code mentioned in each

event throughout the recording of their videos. On the day of the Mind
Quest (9th October 2021), students to wear formal clothes. No participant
to wear school uniform.
2. Each school will be provided with a school code by the host school after
the registration. It is mandatory to mention the name of the participant
along with the school code at the beginning of the video / presentation /
images.
3. No participant is permitted to reveal the name of his/her school during
the performance.
4. The MIND QUEST will commence with the opening ceremony on
Microsoft Teams on 9th October, 2021 at 8:30 am. The link for the same will
be shared with the participating schools later on.
5. After the opening ceremony, the participants will be asked to join
separate meetings for their respective events on Microsoft Teams. The link
for this will be shared by the event in charges later on. This will include an
informal interaction with the judges.
6. The participants will not share any of the links with a third party.
7. The participants will not download, use or share copyright material
without proper citation. They will also not claim another individual’s ideas,
work or information without acknowledging that individual.
8. The participants will not record the content of any of the fellow
participants, online or offline.
GENERAL RULES:
9. All the participants should download Microsoft Teams on their

laptops/devices.
10. The decision of the judges will be final and binding for all events.
11. E-Certificates for the winners and participants will be mailed to the
schools on a later date.
12. The participating school with the highest cumulative score of all the
events, shall be the winner of the BEST SCHOOL AWARD. The host school
will not compete for this award.
13. The results will also be published on the school website:
www.agnel.org after the closing ceremony.
14. The host school owns the proprietary rights to all the materials sent by
the participants and retains all the rights to their content. The content will
be utilized only for the purpose of MIND QUEST, 2021.
15. Non-adherence of event rules may lead to disqualification.
16. Any email sent to the host school should have the name of the
participating school and the school code in the subject of the email.
17. For any event related clarifications, please contact the respective event
in charges between 4:00 to 6:00 pm from Monday to Friday.

EVENT DESCRIPTION:
The participant will choose an English song on the theme, ‘Environment’ and record a video
while performing the song. The song to include 2 to 3 verses and the chorus.
RULES:
The participant is required to shoot a video with live vocals. If any discrepancy is found
in the synchronization of the audio and the video, it will lead to disqualification.
The audio track should not be digitally recorded.
The video should not be edited.
Karaoke track without any vocal harmonies is allowed. The participant can also use a
piano/guitar track. The singer can also play the instrument while singing.
The video should not exceed 3 minutes.
Dress code should be formal, school uniform should not be worn.
The participant to mention his/her name along with the school code at the beginning
of the video.

EVENT DESCRIPTION:
The participant has to prepare a healthy dish using the cold cooking method.
The main ingredient would be gram/chickpea in any form (roasted / sprouted / boiled /
powdered).
The required ingredients to be kept ready beforehand.
The participant would shoot a video demonstrating the process of making a healthy dish and
speak about the benefits of his/her dish for healthy living.
RULES:
Time limit is 3 minutes.
The process should include 4-5 steps.
The participant to use any pre-cooked form of gram/chickpea for preparing the dish during the
presentation.
Medium of language can be either English or Hindi.
An appealing name to be given to the dish.
The participant to be dressed as a chef.

The participant to create buildings (minimum five) that he/she would like to have in his/her
future neighbourhood using 3-D geometrical shapes. Mathematical names to be given to
these buildings. For example: Poodle Pentagon school, etc.
The participant would add other components such as parks, roads, trees/plants, etc.
All the elements in the future neighbourhood should lead to a peaceful and sustainable
living.
The participant to assemble the future neighbourhood on a cardboard of 15 x 22 inches
(A2 size)
He/she would record a video showing the final model along with a brief description of the
work.

A slogan or a punch line can be added to make it more interesting.

The maximum duration for the advertisement is 2 minutes.

EVENT DESCRIPTION
‘Balance’ is essential to life in order to function at full potential. The universe, our eco-system, society,
culture, our homes and family, and most importantly, us as humans require balance. What would you
want the beings of the world to do differently or what will you do to revive balance as we see the light of
tomorrow?
Prepare a solo dance performance reflecting ‘Balance’ in either of the following options:
1. Nature
2. Human mind-body-soul
3. Society and Community (race/gender/humanity)
4. Culture, tradition, art, etc.
You can question, pave the path, or help the audience understand ‘Balance’ and its beauty a little better
through your performance.
RULES:
The participant to mention his/her name along with the school code at the beginning of the video.
The participant must introduce his/her concept and the dance. These can be written or spoken.
Dance forms accepted: Western forms (Contemporary, Ballet, Jazz, Hip-hop) or Indian classical forms
(Kathak, Oddissi, Bharatnatyam, Kuchipudi) or Fusion (western-western, western-Indian, Indian-
Indian) are allowed.
Music can be classical, western, or fusion. Bollywood and Hollywood pop songs are strictly not
allowed.
Time limit: 3 minutes including the introduction of participant, concept and dance.
No marks are allocated for the costume, but it is mandatory to wear something relevant to the
chosen dance style.

Our theme for mind quest 2021 is “Into the future… towards better living.” This theme aims
at envisioning our future world with a positive lens. A vital step towards that future is
creating a society that is not bound by the shackles of any form of discrimination, but a
society where people from all walks of life are treated equally.
The goal behind our special event, “Little Big Shots” is to give an opportunity to differently-
abled students and provide them with a platform to showcase their talent. These students
can present a dance/a song/an art work/a poem/perform with an instrument or any other
talent they possess. There are no specific rules or topics to be followed.
