Devraja Market – Mysore (On one side is the spice market and on the other side is the fruit
market, and the vegetable market and the list just goes on and on and on! Which is actually
what Mysore being about – a beautiful amalgamation of people, cultures and traditions)
Masinagudi Mysore – Ooty Highway (To some extents it holds the true essence of British
Raj. the highway that goes from Mysore to Ooty, although it’s a small 3 – hours drive the
terrains quickly change from plains to forests and to hills.
Toda Village – Ooty (When Britishers first came to Ooty they this place as the Scotland of
India. The original inhabitats of Ooty is the Toda Tribe who laid the foundation of Ooty.)
Middle of Kotagiri Tea estate – (It happens to be one of the most amazing tea destinations
of Tamil Nadu and also the oldest hill station of Nilgiris. Older than Ooty and Coonoor. This
cute hill station lies on the way to Coimbatore. It has a really untouched, pure vibe to it. Its
quite apt for people looking for silence in nature.)
After a drive of 2 hours from Coimbatore we reach Pollachi, which is an offbeat adventure
destination in Tamil Nadu
Banana market – Madurai (Bananas are integral to the cultural of South India! So much so,
that Madurai has an entire market dedicated to the fruit.
Meenakshi Temple – Madurai(The reasoning bells of Menakshi temple. With every road of
the city upto the temples’ gate and every corner packed tight with mouth watering dishes
and Madurai is quite simply the reflection of everything that India stands for)
