Evaluation on Self based on Holland’s Personality Type

We are built on personality. These personality reflects on how we want to operate and be
seen by others. Personality is something that we always take with us, it affects our thinking,
feelings and behavior, where and with whom we are, in any situation at any time. Personality
helps us to adjust. Our personality helps us to "survive" and deal with the daily challenges
surrounding us.

Social aspect of personality plays an important role in our lives because it can be
developed, altered or improved. I think my personality reflects on the social aspect of Jhon Holland’s
personality type. I am concerned with the welfare of others from which I enjoy participating in
group activities and lend a helping hand to individuals that need help and assistance. I love to
yield satisfaction from interacting with other people like enjoy talking or company of other
people, and physical closeness as well. As a social person, I’m attracted to jobs and work
environments that allow me to take the opportunity to engage regularly with the public and other
people. Similarly, to work as part of a team with no competitions, and solve problems through
discussions because I enjoy working with people in which I can communicate warmly and in a
thoughtful manner. I would greatly anticipate this kind of personality because I can pull people
together and generate positive energy for a good cause and apply it in my profession.

The way we define who we are is a direct result of what we know. So, it is the social
environment that plays an important role in determining our personality that makes a difference of
what we do for a living.
