SPAM Projects with PT PP Officials

PEKANBARU- Acting (Pj) Mayor of Pekanbaru discussed two Drinking Water Supply
System (SPAM) projects with officials from PT. Housing Development (PP) in his office,
Wednesday (16/11).

Another thing that was discussed was the role of Pemko Pekanbaru in building a Service
Distribution Network (JDL) so that water could be connected to residents' homes.

"The Acting Mayor held a meeting with PDAM Tirta Siak, PT. PP Tirta Madani, and PT. PP
Tirta Riau. These two PP companies are clean water managers in Pekanbaru," said
Pekanbaru City Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR) Office Head Indra Pomi
Nasution after the meeting, Wednesday (16/11).

He explained, PT. PP Tirta Riau manages SPAM Pekanbaru-Kampar. The company is

building a SPAM with a capacity of 1,000 liters per second.

"30 percent of clean water flows to Kampar Regency (Siak Hulu and Tambang Districts).
Meanwhile, 70 percent of water flows to the Pekanbaru area," said Indra Pomi.
Meanwhile, PT. PP Tirta Madani manages SPAM Pekanbaru. This company will distribute
water with a capacity of 250 liters per second. The water flow capacity will be increased to
750 liters per second.

"So, this PT PP official said that we need to anticipate the availability of a house connection
(SR). They also asked us to prepare a Service Distribution Network (JDL) so that it can be
