AMBEDKAR SUMMER SCHOOL, 2023 on PUBLIC POLICY AND MARGINALISED SOCIAL GROUPS Applications are invited for Ambedkar Summer School, 2023 to be organized by Indian Institute of Dalit Studies in collaboration with Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung, South Asia in May 2023. Ambedkar Summer School, a week-long residential programme, aims to develop the capacity of youths from the marginalized social groups by strengthening the knowledge discourse and critical understanding of issues related to public policy in practice through reading/writing, dialogue, debates, discussions and critical questioning through lived experiences. The participants of Ambedkar Summer School 2023 will join the larger cohorts of previous Ambedkar Summer Schools participants. These participants are emerging as future leaders/academicians and activists working on the issues related to marginalized social groups. Mentorship of participants of Ambedkar Summer School Ambedkar Summer School also offers mentorship programme for the participants. The mentorship initiatives enable continuous engagements with the participants and help to remove barriers experienced by them in their research. The mentorship panel consists of eminent academicians working on the issues of exclusion and discrimination etc. How to Apply The research scholars and young activists working on the issues of marginalization and exclusion can apply for Ambedkar Summer School 2023. The interested applicants need to send their detailed biodata along with an abstract (about 1000 words) on the Public Policy and Marginalized Social Groups. After the Summer School, the selected participants will develop their abstracts into academic articles which would be published in edited books or in academic journals. The organizers will bear the cost of travel (Train AC three tier), boarding and lodging during the course of the programme.
