What to do to reduce the usage of fossil fuels?

At all times, limited resources have been a problem for people from all
parts of the world. No matter the resource, there will always be a fear of not
running out of them. But how do we manage to stop this exploitation?
One approach that could be taken is the increase of taxes on petrol.
Even though this solution may not be seen as perfect , increasing the cost,
and in principle the taxes may be the best solution in cutting off the
unnecessary usage of petrol, allowing people to use it only when they really
need it. For example, this solution allows people to try and use some
alternative fuels instead of petrol or the ones that have a limited quantity.
Another approach would be increasing the use of nuclear energy. This
solution is considered one of the greatest ways of minimizing the use of fossil
fuels. It is known that building and using a nuclear power plant is the greatest
when it comes to the power that it transmitted. But, even though it is the
strongest way of energy supply, it can be way too risky. For instance, when the
Chernobyl nuclear power station had an accident and exploded, it caused a lot
of damage that can be felt even today.
To sum up, I believe that the most important method for this
minimization is the increase of taxes on petrol because building and taking
care of a nuclear station can be really dangerous.

Introduction
The aim of this report is to submit information about public
transportation in my region, information that will be used in the documentary
made by British television.

Popularity
Considering the large number of children, from little ages to teenagers,
and the massive number of elderly, the most popular means of public transport
is the bus. The routes of them are various, in order to connect all the
requested parts of the city and especially, the center with all the border areas
that are the least crowded.

Encouraging the use

As years passed, the people responsible for public transportation have
taken certain decisions to encourage people to use it:
1. Making sure that the buses, trams, and other vehicles are in a good
condition, having them checked every month.
2. Taking care of the prices for the tickets and subscriptions not to be
much more expensive than a person could afford.
3. Creating more stations for easy access to all the routes.

Improves
Even though the people responsible are trying to maintain a good
balance between the price and quality, there can always be some things to
improve the experience for citizens. For example, there can always be an
improvement in the program of buses, trams, and others, because the one
that is currently used has some gaps when it comes to the changes in the
most crowded hours.

Conclusion
To sum up, my region has great management in public transportation
that manages to help all the citizens, even though there can always be some
upgrades.

An advantage or a disadvantage?

Nowadays, an increasing number of people tend to search for a job

where they can easily work from home, despite the fact that they tend to be
paid less than the ones that are working anywhere other than their own
bedroom. But what are the advantages that the majority of people follow to
decide to work from home?
One advantage that could be considered is the flexibility of the program.
Working from home gives you this leverage, being one of the most searched
criteria for an employee. For example, having a flexible program helps you
spend more time with the ones that are close to you such as children, parents,
friends, and others, and it’s not restricting you in which part of the day you
need to work, letting you choose when you want to do your tasks.
Another advantage that would be applied is the comfort that you are
exposed to when you are working directly from your own house, no matter
where you chose to do your job, from the desk, bed, or even from the kitchen
making yourself a snack. Despite the fact that some people think this is the
best way to work, staying home can create a large range of distractions which
can lead to not being able to finish what you were supposed to do.
To sum up, I consider that the advantage that is the most important is
the one about having flexibility because with that you can not miss spending
time with your close ones.

Proposal

Introduction
I am writing this proposal in order to provide information about the future
music festival that will be held in our city in the nearest period of time.

Benefits to our city

It is known that, in our city, there have been organized a few of these
kinds of events, and trying to find new inspiration to organize new music
events will have various benefits for us, such as:
1. More people will come and visit our city during that period.
2. The city will have an increase in funds if the event has a price for
participating.

Location
As we all know, the best location for this festival will probably be the
boulevard, where the traffic can easily deviate through different routes, and
there will be plenty of space to build a stage to perform on and even install
several food courts and other activities. But, even though this is a suitable
location, the consequence of this will be the creation of several traffic jams
among the alternative routes that citizens will take to avoid blockage.

Events
The main events that will take place there will be several concerts held
by local artists and some famous musicians. Besides these, there will also be
some food courts with some areas for people to stay and eat or only drink
something. The fact that people tend to create long waiting lines and, with
that, the place will probably get really crowded can be considered a
consequence.

Conclusion
To sum up, I consider that the advantages of holding a music festival
are more than the disadvantages that it creates.

Essay

Nowadays, teenagers tend to rely more on other people rather than

themselves, even if we talk about parents, friends, or even their classmates.
With the help of this project, they can have several benefits during these three
days.
Firstly, being able to participate in this type of activity has a great impact
on their insight into different living conditions that may happen to them,
especially when they are on their own. For instance, if they are dependent on
their parents, and don't properly know how to take care of themselves such as
cooking, washing up their own clothes and others, during this period of time,
they can gain more responsibility and view a different lifestyle than their usual
one, but this time can be a little to short to really see a change in their
behavior.
Second of all, besides the responsibility that they are gaining from this
project, they can easily manage and evolve their teamwork abilities. In this
project, they are separated into groups and need to cope with different
situations, in which they need to learn how to communicate and understand
their teammates in order to get over those. Having said that, all the students
learn how to do certain actions with the help of others and not to totally rely on
them.
To conclude, from my view, the most important argument is one where
students are able to experience different living conditions, even though the
other one is not to be neglected either.

Right, you wanted to know more about what to really prepare for your
first day in that workspace, so I’ll start by telling you that on your first day there
you need to try and put aside all of your negative emotions. You just need to
be yourself and act like you are already friends with all of your coworkers and
this will make you feel like you already know everything about them. About
preparations, there are no rules in particular that will tell you how to prepare,
but you need to keep in mind that you always need to do all you can, and I
believe that you will be able to cope with all of these kinds of situations, so
don’t worry and just live the moment.
As for what expectations you need to prepare, there will never be a
particular scenario for you to prepare for because every situation is unique,
but what I can advice you is to be an open-minded person as you already are,
and no matter what will happen you will be able to pass that day, especially
that no one will remember what you have done in your first day there.

Do you have an interest in science?

In our days, students tend to focus on more creative fields, such as arts,
which is a great opportunity to express their feelings and not on the practical
and logical ones with stricter rules, like science. But how do we really make
more students attracted to this field and start studying it?
One approach that could be taken is creating and presenting more TV
programs in the field of science. Because students tend to watch TV for hours
during the day, based on the studies made in Britain in 2021, this idea is one
of the best ones considering this criterion. But, however, there are also some
exceptions from this study, and with this suggestion, there will be some
students that will not have the chance to watch those.
Another approach could be the improvements taken in the teaching
facilities. Some schools can’t afford to provide modern equipment for students
and this creates fewer and fewer people wanting to start and study science,
and even if they start studying it, because of the lack of the equipment they
decide to give up and move to study another field. To add to this idea, not only
improvements in the equipment are needed but also the improvement in the
training that the teachers take in order to be able to fully use that equipment
and make students understand easily.
To sum up, I consider that the most important method of trying to make
more students study science would be to invest in and improve all of the
teaching facilities that are needed.

Letter

Hi Lara,

Thought it was time to drop you a line after the reunion we had last
week, and say what my thoughts are after I’ve seen you after such a long
period of time.
As I said, I want to share my thoughts with you about the gathering that
we've had. To start, I want to tell you how much I've missed you since we last
saw each other and that this meant a lot to me. Since we were really close
friends through the school years, it was a real pleasure to finally meet you
again and I'm glad that after all these years we had that spark between us.
This reunion meant a lot to me since I had the chance to spend time with an
old good friend talking, playing games and drinking while we had the chance
to tell each other what had happened since we last saw each other.
The other thing that I want to tell you is what my future plans are, of
course if you want, to maintain this friendship. Even though we have our own
family's, this doesn't stop us from seeing each other at least once a month to
keep up with what is happening with our lives, or if you are OK with this, we
can even go on a mini-vacation somewhere to relax.

Sponsorship: good or bad?

We all know that having a little help from the exterior, especially when
we talk about a school that is having trouble keeping up with the newest
release in technology and other material things. But what are the real reasons
for receiving partnerships?
One reason that could be provided are the generous fundings that will
enter our school accounts. These can be used to replace all the used furniture
in the classes with the ones that are new and more comfortable for students,
but we can also invest in new equipment for our IT, science and all the other
labs. However, those finances are not certainly guaranteed by them, so we
don’t really have a clue if they are really going to offer that money or if they are
only faking it.
Another reason would certainly be the involvement in the local activities
that refers to the environment and not only. This will be greatest plus for our
school, considering the fact that this kind of projects are searched all over the
place, especially if you obtain a volunteer diploma that can make a good
impression in your later life,because this kind of abilities are masivey search
from university to different jobs.
To sum up, from my view the most important reason is the one about
funding, considering that it directly affects the quality of education for the
students, but the other one is also an important reason for our school to obtain
various sponsorships.

Introduction
The aim of this report is to show the terms that were discussed during
our class about the role of preparing people in order to be able to handle the
problems that come with the work life.

Diversity
It is known that people are more likely to stik to only one field, even
though it is not on their like. But this is happening becathe fields that are
mostly targeted are the ones that receive the largest amound of money, and
that is why people tend to chose them over their own passions. But, if we
provide courses for people to attend were they can understand what criteria
they should follow when they choose a job, this will be a massive step
forward.

Expectations
We all know that if you want to get a job you need to pass over the
interviu, which in most of the times you get to spend some time with the boss
who is asking you divers questions. After this, they will beggin and enumerate
the expectations that they have from you as their employee, such as:
1. To be open to participate in the future projects.
2. To be able to communicate and work with the teammates.
3. To not be late to work, and if it happens to be able to announce.

Conclusion
To sum up, it is important to prepare people for their future work life in
order for them to be more easy to choose what they really want to do and
what to expect.
