A story in the Medang Kemulan kingdom in Jawadwipa.The life pf an evil king named
Dewata Cengkar

Dewata Cengkar: I am Dewata Cengkar and no one kill me

But in the ocean,sailing a youngman with his two bodyguard.The young man’ name
was Aji Saka and his two bodyguards were named Dora and Sembada

Dora: Sir,looks like we have arrived at Jawadwipa

Sembada: This country is very beautiful,as people say

Dora:After this,where are going,sir

Aji Saka: We came to spread knowledge and earlier,I asked local residents,they guided
us to

go Medang Kemulan.

While on their way to Medang Kemulan,they rested in an area called the Kendeng
mountains.There Aji Saka left his keris to Sembada snd told him to help the local
people

Aji Saka: Sembada,I leave this keris to and don’ t give this keris to anyone except me
who

asked for it.

Aji Saka continued his journey and when they arrived at Medang Kemulan,they were
surprised to see the condition of the kingdom wich was deserted and the bones
scattered

Aji Saka: What happened to this kingdom

Dora: It looks like this was done on purpose

The citizens came out of hiding and told what had happened to their kingdom because
of the behaviour of their king who liked to eat humans

Aji Saka: You guys don’ t worry,me and bodyguard will protect you from Prabu
Dewata

Cengkar

One day Prabu Dewata Cengkar soldiers were looking for food for the king.Aji Saka
also ordered the residents to leave while he was going to face Prabu Dewata
Cengkar’ s soldiers
Aji Saka: You guys get out of this kingdom and you Dora protect them on the way.

Dora: Yes sir

However,Aji Ska instead gave himself up to be eaten by Dewata Cengkar.He was taken
to the palace and was able to meet Dewata Cengkar

Dewata Cengkar:So,you are Aji saka who protects the citizens

Aji Saka: Before you eat me,I have one request

Dewata Cengkar: Ok my meal

Aji Saka: I want a piece of land that is same legth as my shawl

Prabu Dewata Cengkar also pulled the Aji Saka shawl,but the shawl continued to grow
in legth until it crossed the boundaries of the royal territory.

Dewata Cengkar: What’ s wrong with this shawl why does it always get longer

When he arrived at the edge of the cliff,Aji Saka Used his spell and threw Dewata
Cengkar into the sea to death

Aji Saka: Die you prabu Dewata Cengkar

Aji Saka also became the king of Medang Kemulan and remembered his keris wich he
had entrusted to Sembada

Aji Saka: Dora,you were assigned to fetch the keris that I entrusted to Sembada

Dora went to the Kendeng mountains and asked Sembada for the A ji Saka keris

Dora: Sembada,I was assigned by Aji Saka to tke the keris that was entrusted to you

Sembada: I haved promised to only give the keris to Aji Saka and you are not him

Dora: But I was ordered by him to take the keris

Sembada: If you want this keris beat me first

They also fight fiecerly to death.Aji Saka was worried because Dora did not return

Aji Saka: Why is Dora talking so long,it looks like there is problem

Aji Saka,who arrived at the place,was shocked to see his two bodyguards dead

Because of the loyalty of his bodyguar,Aji Saka also wrote on a stone in memory of
Dora and Sembada.The writing is now known as Javanese script
