The internship(Industrial Training) opportunity I had with Vodafone PNG was a great chance for
learning and professional development. Therefore, I consider myself as a very lucky individual as
I was provided with an opportunity to be a part of it. I am also grateful for having a chance to
meet so many wonderful people and professionals who led me though this internship period.

Bearing in mind previous I am using this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude and
special thanks to the Radio Access Network, Radio Base Station and information communication
Technology Team Manager [Mr. ISO YAWI] of Vodafone PNG LAE who in spite of being
extraordinarily busy with her/his duties, took time out to hear, guide and keep me on the
correct path and allowing me to carry out my training at their esteemed organization and
extending during the training.

I express my deepest thanks to Justin Prakash, [Chief Technical officer-PNG] for taking part in
useful decision & giving necessary advices and guidance and arranged all facilities to make life
easier. I choose this moment to acknowledge his contribution gratefully.
It is my radiant sentiment to place on record my best regards, deepest sense of gratitude to Mr.
Chris Kinakap [Regional Technical Officer - Momase], Mr. [Terence Kamkem], [Field Engineer

study both theoretically and practically.

 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

I Immanuel Baundo prepared this report for the sake of fulfillment of the requirement of
Industrial Training as part of my Final Year course in PNG University of Technology Apllied
Physics with electronics and instrumentations

The evolution of Vodafone started in 1981 with the establishment of the Racal Strategic Radio
Ltd subsidiary of Racal Electronics , the UK's largest maker of military radio technology, which
formed a joint venture with Millicom called 'Racal', which evolved into the present Vodafone.

Vodadone PNG is the largest telecommunications provider in Fiji. The corporation provides
telephonic and internet services nation-wide. The company maintains a leading position in
UNITED KINGDOM as an infrastructure provider to other telecom operators and corporate
customers of the country..

I had joined Vodafone as an intern on 03 rd Jan 2023 ; I have directly worked under the
supervision of Mr. Iso Yawi (Radio Base Station Team Manager -LAE) in the duration of 6 weeks
of internship.
