 It occupies the small Qatar

land border with Saudi Arabia to
the south, with the rest of its
territory surrounded by
the Persian Gulf

 Qatar is one of the fastest growing countries in the


field of tourism
 Qatar has become one of the most open countries
in the Middle East due to its recent visa
facilitation improvements, including allowing nationals
of 88 countries to enter visa-free and free-of charge
(visa is an official mark made in a passport which
allows you to enter or leave a particular country, stay
for a particular length of time, etc.)

Souq Waqif - An Ancient Market In The Heart Of Doha


 Souq Waqif is home to many mud rendered
traditional shops and Qatari buildings where
travelers can shop for various stuffs like traditional
handicrafts, varied spices, jewelries and what not.
Msheireb downtown Doha
 Msheireb downtown is also known as the smart city
of Qatar as it is designed in an ultra-luxuriating
design and infrastructure. With cutting-edge
technology, the city features every comfort and
leisure one needs to stay in Qatar.
ATTIRE/CLOTHING IN QATAR

 Qatari national men wear a thobe, a long white shirt


over loose pants. They also wear a loose headdress,
called a gutra, in white or red and white cloth, held
on with a black rope known as the agal.
 Qatari national women cover their head with a black
headdress called a shayla, their body with a long
black dress called an abayha. Some women also cover
their face with a black bourga; sometimes the eyes
are left uncovered.
FOOD IN QATAR

Majboos
 The actual ingredients are simple: rice with either
chicken or lamb. But it is the magical combination of
spices that accounts for the unique taste and will take
you just about as close as you can get to heaven.

Balaleet
 The ingredients of this one will confuse you, but hear us
out. It is a combination of eggs, sugar, saffron, and
vermicelli rice noodles.
