The Western desert in
the state of Rajasthan
The Western desert is
in the North- Western
part of India.
It is also called
The Great Indian
Desert or
The Thar Desert.

It covers 70 percent
of Rajasthan.
Occupation

• The main occupation is agriculture


and cattle rearing.
