    Science Practical

    AIM : To study the function of Jaltarang.


    REQUIREMENT : 6-8 bowls, water, Wooden beaters .
    PROCEDURE :
    1. Take 6-8 bowls or tumblers.
    2. Fill them with water up to different levels.
    3. Increasing gradually the level of water from one end to the other.
    4. Now take wooden beater and strike the bowls gently.
    5. Strike all the bowls in succession.
    OBSERVATION :
    The jaltarang is an Indian music instrument, based on the property
    of resonance of water. It is a set of bowls or containers, made of
    porcelain or metal, holding water in varying measures. When these
    bowls or containers are struck with a stick, they produce melodious
    sounds of varying notes - high or low.

    Conclusion :
    It allows one to form healthier relationship with their peers
    and create a fun and entertaining atmosphere.
