The document discusses the debate around whether students should be allowed to provide criticism of their teachers. While some argue it could improve education, others contend it may undermine respect and discipline. The document outlines reasons both for and against allowing student criticism. On one hand, criticism could help teachers improve and engage students more. However, many students may lack maturity and self-control, potentially leading to disrespectful behavior and negatively impacting the classroom environment. Ultimately, the document concludes that although student criticism could in theory improve education, in practice it would be very difficult to achieve and control.

In recent years, the freedom of students to give comments and
criticism has always been a topic of interests. It is argued that it
may improve educational quality, other think it will lead to loss of respect and discipline in the classroom. While this thinking is valid to a certain extent, I believed that students shouldn’t be given the ability to make criticism on their educators. There are many compelling reasons why students shouldn’t make comments on their teachers. First, this problem will lead to loss of respect and attention to their teacher. Students will not behave as well as before due to their freedom of speech since they would act normally even though they say very impolite things about their teachers. Secondly, learners may not unable to control their behaviors to their educators because of inexperienced in life. These behaviors can affect not only teachers, but also the classroom’s environment negatively. Moreover, this problem can lead to downgraded personality in those who are under age and don’t have much experience. Nowadays, students tend to copy actions from their friends because they think it’s righteous to do it, which may lead to a big part of students who are discipline and being a bully to teachers and friends. Despite the aforementioned negatives, I would content that giving students the rights to give comments about their teachers is still a great idea. Firstly, it can increase the effectivity in educational progress. By giving their comments to their teachers, students can help their educators improve their lessons and their way of lecturing on classroom. From this, students and their teachers can have the opportunity to discuss together in educational program, create the ability to understand know others better. Secondly, giving criticism on their teachers can help the classrooms’ environment way more ardent. Sometimes when the classrooms are quiet, it is best for students to warm it up by asking questions and telling if they are wrong or not. In conclusion, while many think schools should give students’ freedom to give comments and criticism, I believe that this idea will be very hard to achieve and to control.
